I am taking an art class for education majors this semester. I am not very artistic. Crafty...yes, artsy...no. To say the least, I am trying to make it through this semester without completely relying on my incredibly artistic roomie, Kristy.
On the bright side, this course has introduced me to some new art mediums and reconnected me with some others. Oil pastels, tempera paint, watercolor paints, Crayola model magic, and the most unusual CRAYPAS. What is craypas, you ask. This was my exact reaction to the supply list in August. Well, I can answer your question...craypas is very similar to oil pastels except that melted crayons are added to give it a more waxy consistency. So, there was your art lesson of the day...don't you feel smarter with the gain of useless knowledge :).
